Ethics Committee of Piaget Institute

The Ethics Committee of the Piaget Institute (CEIP) is a multidisciplinary body with technical and scientific independence of an advisory nature, which supports the Board of Directors of the Piaget Institute (IP).

It aims to ensure compliance with ethical and bioethical principles in the activity of the institution’s Organic and Research Units, both in the practice of scientific research and in the provision of health care, ensuring the dignity of the human person, their fundamental rights, as well as the integrity, dignity and trust and safety of the procedures applied at the Piaget Institute, in accordance with article 2 of Decree-Law no. 80/2018, of October 15 *.
